Organized by Nationality for All (NFA), the fellowship is designed for early-career professionals who want to deepen their understanding of statelessness, nationality rights, legal identity systems, and human rights research. Successful applicants will work remotely for three months while supporting the development of one of the region’s most comprehensive knowledge resources on statelessness.
About the SEAP Fellowship Programme
The SEAP Fellowship is part of the Statelessness Encyclopedia Asia Pacific (SEAP), a major regional initiative that documents nationality laws, legal identity systems, discrimination, and populations affected by statelessness throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
To strengthen and expand this important resource, NFA is recruiting two full-time fellows to assist with updating and verifying information for the Second Edition of SEAP, focusing on countries across Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Central Asia.
This fellowship offers participants the chance to contribute to meaningful research while developing valuable professional skills in fact-checking, policy research, citation management, and human rights documentation.

Fellowship Responsibilities
SEAP Fellows will play a key role in updating and improving the Second Edition of the Statelessness Encyclopedia Asia Pacific.

2. Website and Publication Updates
Fellows will:

Fellowship Timeline
Month One: Orientation and Research
