The General eligibility
The General eligibility one is that Students from all countries of the world are eligible to apply for this scholarship. However students will need to to meet these conditions below:
Studrnts applicants must have received an offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate courses for the 2026 to study at the University of Western Australia
Student must have achieved an equivalent: grade score of the minimum ATAR 85.00 or minimum WAM 65.00 to qualify for the scholarship.
For students who are already studying an approved International Academic Pathway Program, students must have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00 grade score
Eligibility criteria for undergraduates
For students applying for undergraduates studies the eligibility criteria to be considered for the scholarship are; that candidates must be applying for an eligible undergraduate bachelor degree or Assured Pathway courses; Assured Pathway to Medicine. Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine
Eligibility criteria for postgraduate
For postgraduates applyijg for this scholarship, to be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, candidates must be applying for an eligible postgraduate degree; Juris Doctor, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Doctor of Optometry.
It’s importqnt to note that whilst most of these degrees are over four years (based on 8 semesters of full time study), the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce; and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science; are over five years (based on 10 semesters of full time study) and as such, eligible students will receive up to $60,000 over five years every year.

How students can apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship Like detaield earlier separate scholarship application is not required. Students submit an application to students’ chosen courses. The University Admissions department will automatically assess your eligibility for a Global Excellence Scholarship once students provide your final transcripts.
The Global Excellence Scholarship will be assessed by UWA Admissions department upon submission of students academic transcript.
Students are required to meet certain criteria to keep this scholarship throughout their years of studying at the University of Western Australia. Read othet terms and conditions on your offer letter when offered the scholarship
