About Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship
The Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship is supported and funded by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Research and Higher Education fund a talent support programme.

Eligible countries for international students
Theres no exempted country, All countries whose candidates meet all set requirements are eligible. The University of Luxembourg offers scholarships and mobility programs for international students, with funding support tied to academic achievement.
Opportunities included in this scholarship are:
Regular Master’s students: from the Western Balkans, Ibero-American countries,
Thailand,
Vietnam,
Belarus,
Egypt,
India,
Moldova,
Russia,
the United Kingdom,
Turkey,
and Ukraine.
Funding for this scholarship covers two years of Master’s study.
Graduate dual-degree students: from partner universities in China, Thailand, and Vietnam, with two semesters of mobility.
Eligibility criteria
International applicants from both EU and non-EU countries can applying for a Master’s degree.
Apply for available for Master’s programmes that run their full two-year programme in Luxembourg.
Ineligible program are any Master’s programmes that include a mandatory semester or year abroad that’s outside of Luxembourg.
Aapplicants are required to have excellent academic performance during their previous undergraduate studies.
Applicants must be Full-time students
Applicants must not be beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education (formerly CEDIES)
Number of scholarship recipients
Maximum of 30 students per year.
Duration of scholarship
winners study for up to 2 years which forms the standard duration of the Master’s degree
Award amount
Students are awarded a yearly stipend amounts of approximately €11,000 academic year, awarded for up to two years of studies
The scholarship also covers students accommodations, and also note that the remaining part of the scholarship is paid in installments.
There are categories of students amd payments available for each.
1st the regular students, for regular students, the scholarship amount is paid at the beginning of each semester, and paid for a maximum of two years of studies .
2nd the exchange students. For exchange students, scholarship amount is paid at the beginning and end of the exchange semester.
Note that the scholarship is subject to performance evaluation and may be withdrawn in cases of poor performance, academic misconduct, unsatisfactory academic performance, or withdrawn from the Master’s programme by student.
The Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship shall not be combined with any other grant or financing support by the Luxembourg government or with a similar scholarship funded by a private sponsor in Luxembourg.
Accommodation for students
The Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship covers funds for the student’s accommodation in the university residence for the duration of the two Master’s programme, the fund which ranges from €500 to €650 per month.
Note that, the scholarship does not cover the security deposit or home insurance for the students accommodation.

Steps by steps application process
1. Apply for the Master’s programme:
First, you as an applicant should try to consult the admission requirements specified on the official webpage of the Master programme you are interested in. This is to ensure that your application is complete and follows application rules and guidelines.
After you have consulted and everything in perfect order you should now submit your Master’s scholarship application and all the required documents via the online admissions portal.
2. Evaluation of your Master’s application:
Next thing is that, once you have completed your application, it will be forwarded to the programme director of the selected Master’s programme for evaluation.
If you are amongs the best and the Programme Director considers that your application meets the required criteria of excellence, you will receive a notification inviting you to apply for the excellence scholarship separately. The link to submit your scholarship application will be included in this notification.
3. Scholarship application:
To comolete your online scholarship application you will need to do the following
Complete the dedicated online form for your scholarship and;
Attach a personal statement outlining your reasons for applying and presenting your strengths;
Attach two academic recommendation letters.
Opon completion and submission your scholarship application, it will be evaluated.
